On behalf of the Shaw High School
Administration, welcome to the Raider website.
We believe that Shaw is the finest
comprehensive high school in this area and offers educational opportunities
unsurpassed by any other school. Our graduates are well prepared to face
the challenges of higher education or entrance into the work force. Over
65% of our graduates qualify for HOPE scholarships, and our Senior Class
graduates over 97% of its members.
Students come to Shaw with
preconceived notions of what they can or cannot do, both behaviorally and
academically, and our outstanding faculty makes every effort to advise, teach,
and lead them beyond their perception of their own abilities.
Our primary function as
Administrators is to provide students the opportunity to learn and teachers the
opportunity to teach in a safe, orderly, and positive environment.
