Free and reliable bus transportation is provided to students as long as their behavior is safe and acceptable. Bus passes are required for all students riding MCSD buses. Transportation is not provided to students attending Shaw through a hardship assignment. Students can and will be disciplined by the administration when behavior is unsafe or disruptive. Disciplinary measures begin with a 1 day suspension from the bus, and can, after unsafe behavior or a 3rd discipline referral from the bus driver, result in a student's suspension from the bus for the remainder of the school year. Students must have written permission from a parent or guardian and approval of the administration in order to ride a bus not assigned to the student. Students transferring busses at the
old Sears parking lot are reminded that they are required to ride the bus from
the parking lot to their designated stop. CD players, cell phones, and
other electronic equipment may not be used on school grounds, including buses. |
