Appointments with the doctor or dentist should be made at the time when the student is out of school or during times the student will miss the least amount of class. Students should present their written request for check out, signed by the parents, to the Attendance Office by 7:40 AM or the check out will be unexcused.
Phone checkouts are not permitted. Parents or guardians arriving at school to check their child out must sign them out through the Attendance Office and present a valid picture ID. Students will not be dismissed from class until the parent or guardian arrives.
Students who check out of school may not check back in that day unless they have a note from a physician.
Students attempting to check out using others to impersonate parents will be suspended from school for a minimum of one day.
Checkouts after the beginning of 4th Period will be unexcused unless a note has been provided to the Attendance Office before 7:40 AM or the student returns with a physician's note. No checkouts allowed after 2:15 PM.
Students becoming ill
during the day must report to the clinic. Cell phone use of any
kind will result in a two day Saturday School assignment. |
