History Channel -- Search by Timeline

...excellent site.  Type in the word "timeline" in the Best Search in History : Any Topic, Any Time search box.  Then look for History of the World Timeline at the bottom of the second column and choose a decade! Has links year-by-year for each decade (can also search by century).
