ATHLETICS
Football
Bruce Figgens, Shaw's tight end, became the first Raider player from the Class
of 2007 to verbally commit Thursday, July 13. Bruce choose UGA over offers
from Clemson, Auburn, Florida State, Louisiana State, Mississippi State, and
South Carolina. He is ranked as the 26th best prospect in Georgia by
Rivals.com.
