Leadership Council
Membership in the Leadership Council
is open to student leaders from every grade. The requirements for
membership are simple:
- Students must be appointed or elected to a
presidency, captaincy, or top leadership position in their club, group, or
school sponsored organization;
- Once named to the Council, participation and
attendance are required.
The Leadership Council serves several important
functions including the following:
- Keeping the Principal informed of student
opinions and concerns;
- Discussing issues key to Shaw High School;
- Keeping students informed of teacher
concerns and ideas;
- Allowing student leaders an opportunity for service learning.
