The first PTSA Open House of the 2007-2008 school year was on Thursday, August 23 in the Shaw Auditorium at 6 PM. Officers for this school year are the following: Josefina Takemoto, President; Vernetta Jones, Vice President; Caroline Obleton, Secretary; and Tim Porter, Treasurer. Our PTSA's "Adopt-a-Seat" campaign to raise funds to replace Shaw's worn-out
auditorium seats has been completed with MCSD's funding the remaining funds.
Our seats are beautiful and comfortable; the curtains and painted walls and
ceiling look marvelous!
