The Shaw High School Green Club was established in December 2007 as a way for the students and faculty to help save the world. The Green Club encourages people to recycle any type of good that can be recycled and promotes a clean, efficient, and safe way of living. In recent years, the threat of global warming has been growing bigger, and people all around the world are becoming more aware of it. This organization is a way for the students to take advantage of the benefits of "going green" and bring it right to their fingertips. The Green Club meets every Tuesday before school (7 AM) and/or after school in Room 200 (Civics Room). Pictured below are pictures taken at the Keep Columbus Beautiful Awards Ceremony on May 8 at the Columbus Trade Center. Luke Wagner is accepting the "Litter Prevention Award" for the club.
