The Ledger went on to say, "The word you most often hear to describe this year's Raider team is 'overachievers'--not a knock on the team's collection of talent, but a tribute to its collective heart. Shaw didn't have home field advantage for a single playoff game, but rather took its efforts on the road for five straight postseason contests, winning all but the last one.... In any case, Shaw represented this community with determination, courage, and class. They're winners, and we congratulate them on a great season." That says it all team! You are "our" champs! |
