This club is not only for Hispanic students or students taking a Spanish class, but for anyone who would like to enhance their cultural awareness. Another great aspect of this club is you get a chance to meet new people, make friends...and learn a little Spanish too! The only requirement to join is to come to the meetings on a regular basis and become involved in our activities. We meet on the second and fourth Tuesdays each month in Mr. Pichardo's classroom, Room 335, right after school. Charisma Grant, Jeneka Bennett, Shannon Marble, Kianca Taylor, and
Tia Tolbert are among the students who painted a geographical mural
on the foreign language hallway. This magnificent work of art will not only
decorate the walls, but it will inspire foreign language students and will
instill a desire to learn and explore other countries' cultures. This on-going
project should be completed by the end of fall ('08-09). This is a combined
effort of the Spanish Club members and Mr. Pichardo's Spanish class. We invite
every student as well as every member of the staff and faculty to visit the
"International Gallery" on the Foreign Language Hallway. The Spanish Club:
